Baruch Glazer, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker
Masters in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work

Life can be overwhelming, and I know this first hand—I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia. Through my years of battling and seeing others struggle, as well as my studies and experience as a therapist, I have learned that although life can be very challenging; with the right tools and support, it can become much more manageable. Many of my clients have said that therapy with me feels different than other therapy experiences they've had in the past. This difference lies in two key concepts that I apply in my work with you: unconditional positive regard, and accountability. I see everyone as a human being doing their best to make it through confusing and challenging situations, because I see myself that way too. None of us are perfect, and I have long ago stopped pretending that any of us are. Instead, I focus on our positive qualities and use self-disclosure often to help you feel comfortable knowing you're talking with another flawed human being just like you. I balance warmth with accountability, creating a space for both support and growth. Therapy is more than just a place to vent—I’ll help you recognize patterns, overcome obstacles, and set meaningful goals. I’ll challenge you when needed, offer honest reflections, and encourage small but meaningful steps outside your comfort zone, where real change happens. Between sessions, I provide actionable steps to keep you engaged in your progress, so you're not just reflecting in therapy but actively growing between sessions. If you're feeling constantly on edge, stuck in negative thoughts, or weighed down by a sense of hopelessness, you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, break unhelpful patterns, and build the tools you need to feel more in control, present, and fulfilled. Therapy is a space for real change, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
